INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO PEDA

 

The college organized an Industrial visit to PEDA (Punjab Energy Development Agency,Sec-35,Chandigarh.The students were made aware of the solar power and its usage. Various products which run on solar energy were introduced and shown to the students.PEDA authorities also told the students about various subsidies that government give on solar products.

The students were over whelmed to see the five star building of PEDA.The building has solar panels on top and all electricity appliances run on the same energy. In the basement of the building there is a generator which changes the AC current into DC.

 

INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO VERKA MILK PLANT

 

The students had gone to visit “Verka Plant”,Mohali.The authorities at Verka divided the students in various groups of 25 students each. The students were shown various equipments with which milk fats are measured and the procedure which they follow. They also saw how the milk is pasteurized and fermented to make paneer,and how these milk products are packed. This has proved to be very informative trip to the students as they are the daily consumers of these products.
